Program Description and Requirements

​

YouthBuild Philadelphia s a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to help former high school dropouts reclaim their education and build a brighter future for themselves through education, job training and service. Their unique, one-year program provides high school dropouts with a chance to earn their diplomas while learning vital job skills and providing valuable community services.

​

Requirements

  • Members must be at least 18 years of age by the start of service.

  • Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents. 

  • Members must have achieved a high school diploma or GED by the start of service. 

  • Members must not have previously served for AmeriCorps State or National terms.
