AmeriCorps Financial Empowerment Services

We are dedicated to supporting members serving in a Philadelphia-Based AmeriCorps program and provide financial empowerment services to assist members with unexpected challenges that may impact their ability to complete their service term. This includes the AmeriCorps Financial Assistance Fund dedicated to providing limited financial assistance to members currently serving in a Philadelphia AmeriCorps state, national, or VISTA program. Financial assistance is limited to one request of no more than $500 per AmeriCorps member.

Who is Eligible for the AmeriCorps Financial Empowerment Services?

Any member who is enrolled and actively serving within a Philadelphia-based AmeriCorps Program.
Any member who is experiencing an unexpected expense or challenge that impacts their ability to continue service.
