Program Description and Requirements
​
Serve Philadelphia VISTAs are AmeriCorps members who fight the injustices and causes of poverty facing individuals and communities in Philadelphia by serving in City departments full-time for one year.
​
The Serve VISTA program is a life-changing service year that presents opportunities to, serve in City government fighting the injustices and causes of poverty, learn valuable skills through our professional development series, and connect with our network of city leaders and VISTA alumni.​

Requirements

Members must be at least 18 years of age by the start of service.

Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents.

Members must have achieved a high school diploma or GED by the start of service.
