Program Description and Requirements
​
Artist Year is dedicated to addressing inequities in Arts Education for K-12 students. The Artist Year Program is designed to yield positive changes for the students, schools/districts, and the Artist Year AmeriCorps Fellows themselves.

Requirements

Members must be at least 18 years of age by the start of service.

Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents.

Members must have at least achieved a Bachelor's degree by start of service.

Applicants must be highly skilled in their artistic craft, holding a degree in an artistic field or having a comparable combination of education and experience in their artistic field.
