Program Description and Requirements

​

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Philadelphia with the mission to advance nurse-led care to reduce health disparities and meet people’s primary care and wellness needs, and as a result, reduce poverty. NNCC AmeriCorps VISTA and State members bring passion and perseverance where the need is greatest: to organizations that help eradicate poverty.

Requirements

  • Members must be at least 18 years of age by the start of service.

  • Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents. 

  • Members must have achieved a high school diploma or GED by the start of service. 

  • Members must not have previously served for AmeriCorps State or National terms.
