Service years are impactful experiences that prepare individuals to build successful careers in education, policy, health care, and more. However, Service years aren’t always accessible to low-income individuals and people of color due to the modest living allowance provided while in service. The goal of our program is to increase accessibility, improve retention, and get more Philadelphians committed to making a meaningful and impactful difference in their communities.

To continue to provide financial assistance and support services to AmeriCorps members in service, we need your help to sustain our AmeriCorps Financial Assistance Fund. Join us in raising $150,000 by June, 2023 to assist 300 AmeriCorps members serving in Philadelphia in the next year.
