Program Description and Requirements
​
Notre Dame Mission Volunteers works with local partners to reach out across culture and class to expand and promote literacy and education. They believe that education is the fundamental tool in the struggle of the poor for human dignity, self-esteem, and willpower and seeks to build a community among our members.

Requirements

Members must be at least 21 years of age by the start of service.

Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents.

Members must have achieved a high school diploma or GED by the start of service, OR commit towards working towards a GED while serving.
-
Members MUST be able to commit to service full time over a 11 month period.
