Program Description and Requirements
​
Next Steps AmeriCorps Program is designed as a college completion and success strategy that actively seeks to revitalize local communities and schools and foster civic responsibility among the region’s colleges and universities. The Next Steps AmeriCorps Program engages college students in community service, mentoring, supportive workshops, and leadership development through part-time AmeriCorps service during the academic school year.
​Requirements

Members must be at least 17 years of age by the start of service.

Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents.

Members must be at least a sophomore in college at Cheyney, Cabrini. Kutztown, CCP, Temple or Arcadia College

Members must pledge to complete 300 hours of service and training during their service year.
