Program Description and Requirements

​

The Urban Technology Project (UTP) is a collaborative initiative between the School District of Philadelphia and Communities In Schools of Philadelphia, Inc., that empowers Philadelphia youth and their communities through meaningful technological experiences that link youth leadership development, education and community building that provide long-term, holistic support for urban youth.

Requirements

  • Members must be at least 18 years of age by the start of service.

  • Members must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents. 

  • Members must have achieved a high school diploma or GED by the start of service. 

​
